$250 for 50 min session
Insurance
Although insurance is not accepted at this time, receipts are provided for out of network (OON) benefits. Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for OON psychotherapy services.
I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include OON mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
Payment
Debit, credit, HSA or FSA cards are accepted easily through Ivy Pay, a HIPAA-secure payment system.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. If you do not have insurance or are not using insurance (including not submitting receipts for OON benefits), I will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate at least 1 day before your first session. You can also ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a session.
Although highly unlikely to occur, if you receive a bill that is $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Please save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
